I didn’t even have the holster a year and already it has cracked twice in the same exact spot causing the firearm to no longer lock in tight anymore. It’s Clearly a manufacturer defect they need to correct. First replacement they replaced with out an Issue. Second request they told me they would only replace this product once. I would not recommend this product.
I have been looking for a OWB paddle holster for some time. I ordered this QD paddle holster for G45 w/TLR 1.
The paddle and ability to adjust cant is the best features. How ever I expected some slight retention around the light. The pistol rattled around in the holster. I tightened the tension screws a little at a time. As a test I held the holster upside down and it slid out.
Immediately applied for a return label.
I know Black Scorpion caters to competition shooting but after reading the description of this holster I expected the holster to do its job. The search goes on.

Reasonably priced. Thus far I have a level II for a Staccato CS with TLR-7 and a simple draw holster for a Sig 226 X/Five Legion with a TLR 1HL. The Level II has impressed the heck out of me. The Sig one arrived today and is tight as hell around the light. Hoping it breaks in with a little time. The adjustable design is impressive and looks to be built tough. I have high hopes for these two. I'd like to see more level II's available, am hoping for the new H&K VP-9 A1 / P-30 added to the inventory soon. Ultimately 9.5/10.
So far the FN reflex holster i bought is working perfectly. I had to tighten the retaining screws as they had come loose over time. But once tightened works perfectly. Very comfortable to wear I sometime have to check to make sure it’s still on my hip. Very good holster thus far. Would recommend.
I prefer a paddle style, especially on a fun with harsh grip texture, this keeps if fully off my side for a very comfortable carry with good retention
I saw others mention “hot swappable” holsters in the $150 dollar range. This system is excellent, feels very well made, and is an excellent value for the cost
Love the holster, but it’s not IDPA legal for sanction matches because of width from belt to outside of holster.

The holster fits the gun perfectly. Looks good, works good. The quick release feature is very nice. It falls short on the paddle. Too small for a full size pistol. Unfortunately the small flimsy paddle fails to hold the pistol securely. The quick release is built into the paddle so this holster will go into the "didn't work out box". Too bad, you guys were so close. Hope this problem gets looked at. The paddle size is fine for a small 3" barrel gun. Any gun bigger will need a larger, stiffer paddle. You guys do a really good job overall and I will continue to be a fan.

Very sturdy. It stands off the body well enough to make for a clear unobstructed draw and return. Not for concealed carry. Wish was available in Level 2 and with a TLR-7 hlx.

I love the quick release for both holsters. I can go from holster to holster from either the Jacob Grey HEX or my Staccato without changing from either belt loop or paddle, very convenient, I can use one for both holsters. Awesome job folks!
The OWB holster will be perfect for me at the shooting classes easy to re-holster the pistol after shooting and will check to see if I can buy more shells for other pistols.
Very good holster for my g40. Would have liked a release button such as i carry now. But I can live with a tight tension retainer.

I’m very happy with the holster. The G40 MOS fits well and feels sturdy. It’s a better product than I was expecting. Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is just lack of time with it. I can’t speak to its longevity but it feels like the kind of quality that should last me longer than I need it to. Would definitely buy again. I almost went with some more expensive options and glad I didn’t. I am sure I’ll get another holster, for a different piece, here.
