Built for shooters who move. The Drop & Offset attachment carries the holster below and out from your belt line, so it clears a plate carrier, chest rig, or battle belt and puts the grip where your hand falls when you are running a stage.
Retention is a manual locking hood. Press the thumb tab and the hood swings clear in one motion, and it locks again on the reholster, so the pistol stays seated through sprints, low crawls, drags, and vehicle work. The release sits under your thumb, not your trigger finger. Tension is set by adjustable retention screws, so you can dial the draw in with a Phillips screwdriver and leave it there.
Where it's legal
USPSA Multigun rule 5.2.1.3 specifically allows thigh holsters, and rule 5.2.1.3.1 requires the holster to retain the pistol "during the vigorous movement that may be required during the courses of fire." That covers 2-gun and 3-gun matches run under USPSA and International Multigun Association rules. The Tactical Games allows hip-level and drop-leg holsters, and bans appendix, small of back, fanny pack, and shoulder rigs.
Straight USPSA and IDPA pistol matches are the exception. Those rulebooks require the heel of the grip to sit at or above the top of the belt, so a drop rig will not pass gear check. Check the rulebook for the match you are shooting.
Setup and adjustment
Fits belts 1.5'' to 2.25'' wide using two tabs and a Phillips screw. Cant adjusts a full 360 degrees, so you can set the draw angle for a standing draw, a kneeling draw, or anything in between. A 13 mm spacer holds the holster off the attachment for thumb clearance on the draw.
The quick-release lever pulls the holster off the attachment without taking your belt off. Add an optional leg strap if you want to tie the rig down for heavy movement.
The open, tapered muzzle clears threaded barrels and compensators. Cut to accept slide-mounted optics and suppressor height sights.

We highly recommend verifying that all screws on the holster are securely tightened before use. For enhanced stability, consider applying thread locker to the rear screws that fasten the holster to its attachment after determining your preferred positioning. However, please refrain from using thread locker on the belt attachment screws to ensure they can be detached from the belt if necessary.

Let me start by saying, I honestly love it. The esthetics are nice, my weapon fits great, and I like the QD. The only thing about it that concerns me is how much play there is between the holster and the drop rig itself. I’m an instructor and this is going to be worn 5 days a week for hours at a time and I am concerned that it will cause it to wear prematurely. I’m going to try to find options to snug it up some, just wouldn’t expect to need to modify it with how much it costs. Other than that I love it and have 4 stars. With no play/slop in it, definitely 5 stars.
Great holster ordered the Canik SFX pro holster for my Canik Mete SFT pro and works perfect so if anyone if looking for a SFT holster I would recommend!
Works great good shipping and customer service
I couldn’t be more happier, this thing has good quality, not expensive and shipping is almost immediately.
Holster seems to be made of thick, high quality kydex. The quick mount however, does not lock up tight. After attaching the holster to the mount, I noticed that it has quite a bit of play in it. Nearly a 1/16" gap between the two. This results in the holster flopping around excessively with no way to adjust the tension. Yes, it attatches and detatches quickly as advertised but for the price I expected better lock-up between the two pieces. Adding a thigh strap does not aid in this annoyance as the strap attaches to the drop leg and does not negate the holster from flopping around and making rattling noises. I added some Cordura wrap material between the two to stop the rattling noise and it does help with the "flop" somewhat but now it isn't a "quick" system and takes a lot of pressure to achieve lock-up between the holster and drop leg. Maybe I got a lemon but I suspect that this is a common issue. I was thinking of purchasing the "competition" model but I may just have to wait until other holster makers come out with models for the XP PRO. It's not awful, just could be so much better.
Items received were a drop leg extension and a holster that does not fit the Echelon.
In case anyone is wondering a normal sfx fits great in this holster, luckily because no one makes a level 2 holster specifically for them.
It is extremely sturdy and I have no worries of my canik mete sfx pro falling out. I love the ability to be able to canter it firearm and the quick release system so you don't have to have it sitting on your side while driving or in a chair. I do wish you could choose a holster with laster sights.

The pistol fits good. Wife was unable to use it @ the range a couple days ago because we need a thigh strap. All drop leg attachments for these duty holsters must utilize a thigh strap which I forgot to order as this holster was a b-day gift for the her. Strap is out of stock and I think was when I ordered it. If I need to leave another review when the gun is drawn with any negatives, I will but I do not believe she will have any issues

This is my second holster from Black Scorpion. I really like the quality of these holsters. The fit, function, and adaptability are absolutely great. Purchased the holster last week and received it this week. went to try it and it didn't fit at all. I compared it to the other one I've got from black scorpion, and molds are completely different from one another.
Disappointed, but it is what it is.
