Built for shooters who move. The drop leg platform carries the pistol low on your thigh, clear of a plate carrier or battle belt, so armor and a chest rig do not foul the draw. Two industrial-grade straps, woven nylon and rubber, are built into the platform and hold the rig to your leg so it does not swing or ride up when you run.
Retention is a spring-loaded Level II hood. Push the button and the hood springs clear, and it resets on the reholster. The hood is cut to clear slide-mounted optics, so the release is not fighting your red dot. Tension is set by adjustable retention screws, so you can dial the draw in with a Phillips screwdriver and leave it there.
Where it's legal
USPSA Multigun rule 5.2.1.3 specifically allows thigh holsters, and rule 5.2.1.3.1 requires the holster to retain the pistol "during the vigorous movement that may be required during the courses of fire." That covers 2-gun and 3-gun matches run under USPSA and International Multigun Association rules. The Tactical Games allows hip-level and drop-leg holsters, and bans appendix, small of back, fanny pack, and shoulder rigs.
Straight USPSA and IDPA pistol matches are the exception. Those rulebooks require the heel of the grip to sit at or above the top of the belt, so a drop rig will not pass gear check. Check the rulebook for the match you are shooting.
Setup and adjustment
The belt attachment fits belts 1.5'' to 2.25'' wide. Cant adjusts a full 360 degrees, so you can set the draw angle to match how you actually stand and move. The quick-release lever pulls the holster off the platform without taking your belt off, so one holster can move between a leg rig and a belt setup.
The open, tapered muzzle clears threaded barrels and compensators.
Before you run it hard, check that every screw is tight. Use thread locker on the rear holster screws. Leave it off the belt attachment screws so the quick release still comes apart.

Comfortable and secure. With a torn right shoulder, drawing from holster at the hip can be painful. I prefer a drop leg holster for quick access when on the range. I have a Canik Rival S and Canik Elite Combat and the holster works for both.
I would have liked it if it locked my handgun in the holster after the lever release. For security reasons but it’s a nice holster. Fits well.

Not only does it fit perfect all-round, but the Carbon Fiber holster and nylon straps are as good quality as it gets. Easily adjustable from the length from the detachable belt loop down as far as you need down the side of your thigh. And obviously easily adjustable with both straps around the thigh. The pull-out proof strap that helps keep your pistol in place, has enough room to surpass really any optic you feel the need to put on your firearm. I have to say the thumb release is a little sticky but I feel like it just needs to be broken in a little bit.
Just like the title says, perfect fit, I was a bit worried at first because it does not fit with my TLR-1 HL but after buying the surefire x300, fits perfect, very happy with the purchase, buy once, cry once like they always say. Will 100% keep buying this brand for my guns in the future

Great feeling holster. Its a little loose without a TLR light. So I need to get one. But overall its a good holster. And honestly it was the only one I could find that's a level ll holster for my canik.
I was super excited to try the holster out. First time I put the gun in & took one step, the mag drops out. I figure I just didn't seat it well, so I put the mag back in & carry on. Next step drops the mag as well. I get to looking & saw that the holster buts right up against the mag release, so even the slightest little jostling causes the mag to drop.
This holster is great quality, perfect fit for the 4.5 echelon. Will definitely purchase another for my Glock.

I am very pleased with the quality and features of this holster! The quick release allows you to swap holsters onto the thigh rig in seconds, and the holster fits snug and tight when mounted. The release for the Level II is much easier to use than the older Safariland I cut my teeth on years ago, and the price is so reasonable it's almost suspicious!
