We highly recommend verifying that all screws on the holster are securely tightened before use. For enhanced stability, consider applying thread locker to the rear screws that fasten the holster to its attachment after determining your preferred positioning. However, please refrain from using thread locker on the belt attachment screws to ensure they can be detached from the belt if necessary.

Canik SFx Rival w/ Align Tactical Thumb Rest Pro Competition Holster
This is the second holster I bought from black scorpion. The first was awesome, so I ordered one for a second gun. Couldn’t be happier with it. They’ll keep getting my business!
Great holster. Would be a little better if it had something to attach the bottom. If you don’t pull perfectly vertical it pulls away from your leg
Fit and finish is excellent. Rides comfortably on the hip.
Only suggestion would be the addition of a thigh strap.

The adjustability is surprisingly decent considering it's the most basic DOH hanger option. The kydex is cut low enough to allow for a fast draw.
My only gripe is the fit. It's just slightly too narrow for my platypus. It is molded to hold at the trigger guard, but I'm noticing a lot of wear on the rails of the frame. I have RAL8000 cerakote streaks rubbing off inside of the holster after just one range day.
Very high quality and well-made holster, but it would not fit my Smith & Wesson 5-in Competitor. Company is very quick to process return and send shipping label. Will definitely do business with them again for a different model gun.
Just started shooting USPSA, got the pro competition holster and love it. The big retention "screws" make it easy to dial in the exact retention you want, the draw is smooth, I don't even mind the basic hanger it comes with.
I’m new to competition and a friend recommended Black Scorpion and I’ve been really happy with the choice so far. It’s well made and works great. My only complaint is that of hardware - the holster and mag carriers all use (very small) metric fasteners except for the tilt adjustment of the holster. That uses imperial (english) fasteners with a phillips head. This means you need another tool in your box and if you lose the nut you’re out of luck. I replaced these with metric hex heads (McMaster Carr 93070A095 and 94920A110) that match the rest of the setup so that I only need two allen keys. This is an annoying detail in an otherwise great product. The good news is that once you buy the bag of 25 you can share that hardware with friends.
