Duty Drop Leg Belt Attachment

Ran flawlessly during my 5.5 mile run and gun. No screws backed out. It just runs like it’s supposed to. I honestly couldn’t ask for anything more than this. And I highly recommend your equipment to anyone else looking to compete or train

My wife and I just started shooting USPSA and IDPA. We bought (2) of these for us to compete. Would recommend to any one looking for a complete setup.

When I changed IDPA divisions and pistols (SSP to CO and G34 to Walther PDP), I needed a new rig since the other manufacturer did have a fit for the PDP Compact. I did a lot of research and decided to give Black Scorpion a try. I have NOT been disappointed! The construction and especially the secure clip on/off nature of the components is top shelf. I especially like the belt’s construction as it mirrors the previous one I’d been using but I like the buckle clasp and fit better than my previous rig. Match performance has been stellar this far. Keep up the great work!

The screws for the magazine carriers constantly come loose, probably will use locktite, but shouldn't have to.

The kit is fine, works great. For the love, make a video demonstrating how to attach the mag pouches and holster to the belt, not being able to properly assemble the belt system out of the box was very frustrating. Also include the tools to work the systems in the bag, having to search my garage for 6 alan keys wasn't fun either, not to mention the fact that almost every screw was a different size.

Great strap. But just a tad short. Cant make it any longer. Elastic at one end helps but If you have bigger thighs may be a bit tight.

This belt is fantastic and I’m already looking at incorporating some mag holders for my work belt in addition to what carry on my vest

I think the belt and holster will do well, not so sure about the mag pouches. They don’t seem to be fitted for the 2011 magazines. My Glock 34 magazines fit perfectly, but that’s not what I was needing. Will let you know how they perform after shooting a match.

Awesome Rig

The drop belt attachment fits my padded belt fine, so I like it for longer matches where weight can wear on the hips. I use it with the Scorpion quick release OWB holster which provides sufficient offset to allow going to the grip easy.

Purchased holster, belts, and mag holders. Great product, nice fit, solid construction. Have not had a chance to shoot competitively yet but has been outstanding while running practice drills.

For context, I compete occasionally in 2-gun, 3-gun, and other "non-lettered" local competitions. I generally avoid USPSA and IDPA, except occasionally. If the rules do not prohibit drop leg holsters, I use the Black Scorpion quick detachment drop leg holster with two leg straps. For me, it's the most stable and comfortable. If the competition rules state that the pistol's grip cannot be below the belt line, I use this duty drop leg belt attachment. I find it provides the same stability and comfort with only one leg strap. The only difference is that my hand/wrist consistently hits my pistol with the belt attachment. The full drop leg holster setup is a couple inches lower. I have them both from Black Scorpion, and one male attachment for my holster that can easily go back and forth between the two belt or leg rigs. This is perfect for me.

OK gear, holster did not fit the belt no matter what adjustments I tried. Had a 1/4 inch play on draw with holster moving. Tried to contact customer service which is nonexistent, tired phone, email and chat. No response to any of those attempts.

Quality of the competition rig combo is excellent - I'm really looking forward to using it as I start my USPSA journey! The mag pouches are solid and once installed on the belt do not move at all - it was a little challenging to get them on, having to remove 4 screws each, but worth it in the end.

This is a well built sturdy belt. Top quality, I am very happy with it.
