A Pro IDPA Competition Rig for the Girsan MC P35: a Pro IDPA Competition Holster, a cut-to-fit Tactical Gun Belt and two IDPA mag pouches. Right-hand draw only.
What's included
- (1) Pro IDPA Competition Holster for the Girsan MC P35, in black
- (1) Tactical Gun Belt 1.5'' in black, with belt keeper and a 2mm Allen key
- (2) IDPA Double Stack Competition Magazine Pouches in black, already sized for your magazines
Holster
A 0.088'' Kydex shell molded for the Girsan MC P35. Optics ready, and the muzzle end leaves room for a threaded barrel. Phillips screws on the shell set the retention.
The belt attachment is a clip: press the two buttons on each side and it opens. Two plastic tabs inside pull off and press back on to fit belts from 1.5'' to 2'' wide.
Belt
A 1.5'' wide, 0.25'' thick nylon belt with a reinforced core, 48'' long. It's one length: you cut it to fit at the buckle end, then the ratcheting buckle adjusts in 1/4'' steps across 40 positions. Read the Belt sizing section before you cut.
Magazine pouches
Kydex pouches sized for your pistol's magazines, with a neutral ride height. Phillips screws set the retention. They clip onto the belt with the same attachment as the holster.
Setup takes the included 2mm Allen key for the belt buckle and a Phillips screwdriver (not included) for the retention screws.
Made for IDPA competition.
Made in the USA.
The belt comes 48'' long and you cut it to your size once, at the buckle end. Measure twice, cut once: you can always take off more, but you can't put it back.
- Find your cut length. Take your pant size and add 4'' if you carry outside the waistband (like the Pro IDPA Competition Rig), or 6'' if you carry inside the waistband. Example: 34'' pants, outside the waistband, cut length 38''.
- Mark the belt. Lay the belt flat. Measure from the tip (the end without the buckle) and mark your cut length. Measure again before you cut. If your cut length comes close to the full 48'', don't cut yet: try the belt on first.
- Take off the buckle. With the included 2mm Allen key, loosen the two screws on the buckle. Raise the clasp on the bottom of the buckle and slide the belt out.
- Cut. Cut straight across at your mark with sharp scissors or a knife.
- Put the buckle back on. Insert the cut end into the buckle, press the clasp down firmly so its teeth grip the belt, then tighten both screws with the 2mm Allen key until snug. Don't overtighten, or the screws can strip.
- Try it on. Thread the tip through your pant loops and into the buckle, and click it until snug. The buckle adjusts in 1/4'' steps across 40 positions. The tip should reach about 3'' past your first belt loop. Still too long? Take the buckle off and trim a little at a time. Tuck the extra into the belt keeper.
The rig comes assembled with the holster and mag pouches matched to your pistol. Size the belt first (see "Belt sizing"), then set up the gear.
- Size the belt. Measure twice, cut once, following the Belt sizing steps.
- Set the attachments to your belt. The holster and both mag pouches use the same clip. Press the two buttons on each side to open it. Pull off the two plastic tabs inside and press them back on in the position that fits your belt (the Tactical Gun Belt is 1.5'').
- Lock the attachment screws. Put a drop of removable (medium strength) thread locker on the screws that hold the belt attachment to the holster and to each mag pouch, so they stay tight. Don't use a permanent thread locker, because it can seize the screws.
- Clip on the gear. Close each clip over the belt until it locks. Put the holster on your right hip and the two mag pouches on the side opposite your holster. Check the current IDPA rulebook for holster and pouch placement before a match.
- Set the retention. With an unloaded pistol and empty magazines, turn the Phillips retention screws on the holster and on each pouch. Tighter holds more securely while you move. Looser lets the pistol or magazine come out with less effort.
- Check it. Make sure every clip is closed and locked, and recheck the screws before each match.
