Built for shooters who move. The drop leg platform carries the pistol low on your thigh, clear of a plate carrier or battle belt, so armor and a chest rig do not foul the draw. Two industrial-grade straps, woven nylon and rubber, are built into the platform and hold the rig to your leg so it does not swing or ride up when you run.
Retention is a spring-loaded Level II hood. Push the button and the hood springs clear, and it resets on the reholster. The hood is cut to clear slide-mounted optics, so the release is not fighting your red dot. Tension is set by adjustable retention screws, so you can dial the draw in with a Phillips screwdriver and leave it there.
Where it's legal
USPSA Multigun rule 5.2.1.3 specifically allows thigh holsters, and rule 5.2.1.3.1 requires the holster to retain the pistol "during the vigorous movement that may be required during the courses of fire." That covers 2-gun and 3-gun matches run under USPSA and International Multigun Association rules. The Tactical Games allows hip-level and drop-leg holsters, and bans appendix, small of back, fanny pack, and shoulder rigs.
Straight USPSA and IDPA pistol matches are the exception. Those rulebooks require the heel of the grip to sit at or above the top of the belt, so a drop rig will not pass gear check. Check the rulebook for the match you are shooting.
Setup and adjustment
The belt attachment fits belts 1.5'' to 2.25'' wide. Cant adjusts a full 360 degrees, so you can set the draw angle to match how you actually stand and move. The quick-release lever pulls the holster off the platform without taking your belt off, so one holster can move between a leg rig and a belt setup.
The open, tapered muzzle clears threaded barrels and compensators.
Before you run it hard, check that every screw is tight. Use thread locker on the rear holster screws. Leave it off the belt attachment screws so the quick release still comes apart.

We highly recommend verifying that all screws on the holster are securely tightened before use. For enhanced stability, consider applying thread locker to the rear screws that fasten the holster to its attachment after determining your preferred positioning. However, please refrain from using thread locker on the belt attachment screws to ensure they can be detached from the belt if necessary.
